Pacific Computer sells products from various manufacturers and brands. Warranty coverage depends on the product, manufacturer and warranty terms specified on the product page or invoice.
1. Warranty Period
The warranty period applicable to a product will be as specified on:

- Product documentation
- Invoice
- Manufacturer warranty terms
Warranty periods may vary by product and brand.
2. Manufacturer Warranty
Where a product carries manufacturer/OEM warranty, warranty service may be provided directly by the manufacturer’s authorised service centre.
Pacific Computer may assist customers in coordinating with the relevant manufacturer where appropriate.
3. Seller Warranty
Where a product specifically carries a Pacific Computer or seller warranty, warranty service will be handled according to the warranty terms applicable to that product.
4. What May Be Covered
Subject to the applicable product warranty, coverage may include manufacturing defects or failures occurring during the stated warranty period.
The exact scope of warranty coverage is determined by the applicable manufacturer or seller warranty terms.
5. What May Not Be Covered
Warranty may not cover:
- Physical damage
- Accidental damage
- Liquid or moisture damage
- Electrical surge or power-related damage
- Damage caused by improper installation
- Damage caused by misuse or negligence
- Unauthorised repair or modification
- Tampering
- Normal wear and tear
- Consumable items, where applicable
- Damage caused by incompatible components or accessories
- Data loss
- Software-related issues unless specifically covered
6. Warranty Claim Process
To request warranty assistance, customers should provide:
- Order/invoice number
- Product name
- Serial number, where applicable
- Description of the issue
- Photographs/videos where requested
- Relevant error messages or diagnostic information

7. Manufacturer Service Centre
For products covered by manufacturer warranty, the customer may be directed to an authorised service centre.
Service procedures, turnaround time and replacement decisions may be determined by the manufacturer.
8. Warranty and Data
Customers are responsible for backing up their data before submitting a device for service.
Pacific Computer and/or the manufacturer will not be responsible for loss of personal data, files or software during repair or replacement, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
9. Replacement Under Warranty
Where applicable, a defective product may be repaired or replaced according to the relevant manufacturer or seller warranty terms.
Replacement with an identical product may depend on product availability.
10. Warranty Void Conditions
Warranty may become invalid where the product has been:
- Modified without authorisation
- Opened or repaired by an unauthorised person
- Physically damaged
- Used outside specified operating conditions
- Subjected to improper installation or misuse
- Tampered with or altered
11. Warranty Does Not Automatically Mean Return
A product being under warranty does not necessarily mean that it can be returned for a refund.
Warranty claims and return/refund requests are handled under their respective applicable policies.
